Curious Learning is an international non-profit with the mission to “give everyone the opportunity to learn to read.” We curate, localize, and monitor educational apps that run on smartphones. We then run awareness and advocacy campaigns and work with NGOs and large multi-laterals to get those apps into the hands of children that would otherwise not learn to read. This is an opportunity to be part of a very international team that is working toward an ambitious and exciting goal. The work you will do will be the technological foundation for reaching 100s of millions of children. It has been estimated that bringing 170 million people into literacy would reduce global poverty by 12%. This is doable over the next decade.
